If you could change one major thing about your life, whether a relationship, your job, your living situation, your school, etc., what would it be? Are you currently working toward a serious life transition?

Are you currently working toward a serious life transition?

Actually I am knee deep in a serious life transition, and frankly today I'm having one of those days where I wish I wasn't.

Writer's Block: Concert mania [Oct. 6th, 2009|10:38 am]

What band are you dying to see live in concert that you've never seen before? Would you travel to a different city or state just to see them?

Not a band, but I really would like to see Lou Reed live. Not sure if I would specifically travel to see a him live, but if I happened to be traveling somewhere (like New York for example) and he was playing a gig while I was in town then I'd definitely go. Especially if the gig was in NYC.

Attention So-Cal Oenophiles! [Oct. 3rd, 2009|10:21 am]
Well ok....really this post for anyone, but those of you who live here in LA will be more able to take advantage of it. I discovered this shop while I was at lunch yesterday. It's been open for a about a month. Their selection draws mostly from boutique vintners around the globe, but it seems their most impressive array is the French section. Prices range as they would at any wine store, but good value for the money is what you get. Most of the stock falls within the $15-$25 range, but there are a few gems that can be purchased for under $12. The proprietor Jill told me that she was working to get more in and she should have fuller shelves within a couple of weeks. In the meantime there's plenty of good wines to be got, so go there and help Jill need to order more inventory! I plan on doing my part ;)

The only thing I'd do was make sure the words "in bed" were added to every strip of paper.

Of Course It Is! [Aug. 29th, 2009|09:27 am]
Your Love Sign is Aquarius
You fall in love as easily as the next person, but you do it on your terms.
For you, love is always unconventional and even a little freaky.

You're an independent and inventive person. You are drawn to someone wacky and totally cutting edge!
It's hard to predict who you'll fall for next. You don't even know yourself.

Vin Rouge, hands down. IMO all French reds are good but my favorites are those from Bordeaux or Burgundy.
